BIO

Zeb Ringer was born and raised in rural Montana, USA, where he was home schooled by his mother and trained in metal work, steel fabrication, and the creative process by his father, artist Charles Ringer. His upbringing planted the seeds of experimentation with various creative mediums present in Zeb’s work today. At the age of fourteen he entered the traditional educational arena; with less than three years in total of high school. He then went on to pursue audio production at the Art Institute of Seattle. This education triggered a pull to the music industry and nightlife which opened doors to him working in management of large scale music festivals such as Lollapalooza, Seattle Capitol Hill Block Party, Bumbershoot and more.
Zeb is primarily self taught in all aspects of his journey of artistic expression. This experience has lead him to be highly teachable, naturally curious, hungry for knowledge and a quick study in various vocations. In his early adulthood, propelled by his naturally inquisitive mind he began to travel the world, documenting his experiences through visual expression in painting, photography, videography and sound through his musical ventures. Through these experiences he has lived, worked and traveled through all of North America, and has shot video and photography in over thirty countries.
This is to say that Zeb’s visual art has a technical edge that combines with a prismatic storyteller view; a result of his lived experience. Zeb is a truth seeker, a boundary pusher and is honest to his core. He shows this to the world through his art and work.
